Hybrid Navigation Technique for Improved Precision in Implantology

The hybrid navigation technique involves the merging of Dynamic (DN) system (Navident, Claronav, Canada) and static (3Shape, Copenhagen, Denmark). Combining advantages both techniques, devising a protocol will be advantageous to eliminate difficulties faced by operators in using either methods separately. Three patients requiring dental implants were included this study. This requires cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) (Digital Imaging Communications Medicine (DICOM) data) intra-oral scan (Standard Tessellation Language (STL) format) data for accurate planning implant positions dynamic approaches. steps carried out repeated each patients, accuracy placement was verified postoperatively CBCT pre post through Evalunav software (NaviDent, Claronav). placed assessed based on mesio-distal, bucco-lingual, apical deviations distance angulation. semi-robotic DN guide combination as is an interesting method improve flapless surgeries can used cases where anatomical landmarks are determinant factors placement.
